14 streetlights, only 2 working!, 12th February, dunstable

The roundabout where Tring road / Icknield Way (B489) and Dagnal Road/ Harling Road meet together has 14 lamp posts at and around aproaches to the roundabout. Only 2 of these are working and as this is a fast section of road it's making a fairly safe roundabout dangerous at night. Can ALL of the street lights at this roundabout be replaced with new ones. Can I also bring to your attention that none of the 4 signs on the roundabout are lit up either so also need new lights. In other words, this whole roundabout needs all of its lighting (Streetlights, Sign lights and bollards) renewed. Many Thanks

Pothole/damaged road, 10th February

This was first reported last May by myself. It has been ignored thus far, and now the damaged surface is pitted in two places. The problem is, that the hole is crossed by vehicles coming from 3 directions. I imagine that since works are due to start on Morrisons at some point, the council have decided it is not worth fixing it, but we swerve around it twice daily at least!

Flickering Lamp, 10th February

Drove past this light around 5pm this evening, and the first lamp on the corner of Tudor Drive was flickering like a strobe. I thought that this could prove quite dangerous for someone with epilepsy if they went past it.

Approx 25cm across, and 5cm deep. You can see all the stones from the hardcore underneath, and they are getting kicked up by the car wheels and scattered around the road.

More reappearing potholes, 10th February

This road really needs to be completely re-surfaced. If not in it's entirety, maybe at the entry to the road where there is most traffic. This hole has been filled in about 3 times now, and within a few months, it has re-opened.

Driving down this way this evening, lucky we saw this hole, because if we'd hit it, we'd have lost the wheel on our little car! I think the location is about right, just before Emerald Road on the Dunstable side of Poynters Road. Approx 30cm wide, and looked to be around 10cm deep.

I am a resident of Plantation road and one person chooses to park on the pavement totally obstructing the pathway (double yellow lines) Often there is visitors parking, ramped up on the pavement for hours at a time. I have seen people, including disabled people walk in the road because they cannot pass the vehicles.

Paths in Plantation, between Adams Bottom and Hillside Road is regularly covered in Dog faeces. Owners have no regard for the children who use these paths every day to walk to Dovery Down Lower school. My children have accidentally trod in faeces on the pavement and it has ruined uniform, shoes and has caused considerable upset. It is dangerous and unacceptable for young children to have to navigate around faeces.
