The path which runs adjacent to Whitchurch Brook between Whitchurch High School and Eglwys Newydd Primary School is currently designated as a no cycling path. Improvements need to be made to this route to make it a joint use cycling/pedestrian facility particularly to encourage the safe routes to school initiative which the Council adopts. It is the safest route for cyclists from Merthyr Road side to Church Road side of Whitchurch and must be on the Council's agenda to encourage cycling to and from school, and for wider cycling participation.

Parking on Zig Zag lines, 11th May, CF14 2BP

During the recent wet period that has been a lot of parents parking or dropping off on the Zig Zag lines on Erw Las entrance to 2 primary schools, which makes it very hectic and potentially dangerous for every one else. I have politely pointed out to drivers the lines and most have been OK, although one said I was petty and had to much time on my hands. I think our safety is worth the time

Dangerous pothole, 6th May

Huge pot hole has opened up on the bend by whitchurch builders, to avoid it you have to move out wide on a dangerous left hand bend. This part of the road continuously has potholes and flood water. needs complete resurface instead of just patching all the time.

Numerous potholes/uneven road surface, 2nd May

This road is FULL of potholes, small bigger than others. Makes cycling very difficult, they fill with water regulary. There have been numerous repairs to the surface, making it very bumpy.

Hello. We have had a spate of vandalism in the centre of the lane between Heol Don and Velindre Place, with grafitti sprayed on garage doors and walls. Could this pleased be cleaned up? We have also endured burglaries and attempted burglaries. Gating the lane may be an option.

Feeding the pigeons, 11th January

Someone is feeding the pigeons on the corner of Bishops rd and Merthyr rd. This is a very busy and dangerous junction for pedestrians and traffic, now there is the extra danger of pigeons flying out into the path of the cars, there has already been at least one dead bird in the road. There is going to be a nasty accident there if this person isn't stopped and directed to the park by the library only ten minutes walk away. I have spoken to the police and the department of the enviroment and it seems that no-one is willing to do anything. Something must be done before there is an injury or fatality.
