Residents at Number 5 Glenside Avenue are not disposing of their rubbish responisbly. There are a number of rubbish bags left on their drive (not in rubbish bins) which have been consequently ripped open by foxes etc and so there is rubbish and food everywhere which is being blown around Glenside avenue, probably the cause of the reoccuring rat problem some of the residents have!

Extensive grafitti on on upper prominade retaining wall. Has been there since october 2011, the downs is not yet a village green so it is still the responsibility of canterbury city council.. If this decoration was on the new marlow theatre it would be removed instantly

The wooden footbidge at the end of ashtrees has come to the end of its life. the surface is rotten and extremely slippery a hazard. the whole bridge needs repacing and a suitable non slip surface on the walking surface. oct 2011 reported to kcc who declined asset ownership.

Persistant fouling of our front gardens and pavements in Grasmere Road, Richmond Road and Clover Rise by dogs with inconsiderate dog owners is causing a mixture of upset, distress and infuriating anger among some of the residents in these streets. Some owners let there dogs wander across our gardens when passing and some dogs are not even on leads. These selfish people then turn a blind eye to the discusting mess their animals leave behind. When politely confronted with the issue when we are fortunate enough to catch them, the offenders really do not seem to grasp that what they are doing is wrong or how vile people generally find it. I think I am right in saying it can be up to a thousand pound fine.

The council recently extended the double yellow in Glen Iris Avenue. Unfortunately the lines are ignored by some, particularly at night - a repeat offender often parks on them overnight. What should residents do if the spot illegal parking?
