Potholes in cycle lane after Carter bridge, 5th July

There are loads of potholes in the cycle lane leading from the Carter bridge to Tenison road forcing cyclists to use the main part of the road.

Inconsiderate Parking, 5th July

The lower part of Child's Pond Road, where it meets Longsands Road near the school, is continually blocked by inconsiderate parking. This prevents large vehicles - including those used by the emergency services - from passing through. It is about time residents were encouraged to park in the spaces in front of the garages, teachers and students were discourage from parking on the road, and double yellow lines on one side put down.

Mini roundabout becoming invisible, 4th July

The road markings on the mini-roundabout are so worn that they are pretty much invisible. This is causing conflict between traffic emerging from the Forvie site and traffic heading down Robinson Way towards the Addenbrookes roundabout. Please repaint it.

Drainage problem, 2nd July

There appears to be a problem with the drainage at the traffic lights in the centre of Great Shelford. Whenever we experience heavy rain the junction floods up to half way across the side of the road immediately adjacent to the pedestrian crossing on the Station Road/London Road corner of the junction. It only takes one inconsiderate driver to soak people stood waiting to cross at the lights (and sadly there are frequently such drivers!).

Safe dumped in watercourse, 2nd July

A safe, which seems to have been the subject of a crime as it has a hole in the rear, has been dumped from the bridge on Silver St Godmanchester into Stoneyhill Brook.

Amber light out, 2nd July

When heading north-east, one of the amber traffic lights on the pedestrian island doesn't work.

Stinging nettles growing onto cycle path, 2nd July

The weeds both sides of the cycle path and pavement are getting very overgrown all along this area. In particular, there are a lot of tall stinging nettles which have taken over most of the cycle path at points.

Stretham Road, Wicken, Cambs, 1st July

Road surface between Wicken and turn-off for Upware on the Stretham Road in Cambs is extremely poor -especially just East of Spinney Abbey on the Eastwards going carriageway - difficult for bicycles as is breaking up in places.

Dropped and leaking manhole cover, 1st July

The manhole cover on Robinson Way has dropped and water is leaking out.

Box box markings degraded, 3rd July

The bike box (advanced stop line for cyclists) markings at the Addenbrookes exit have become almost invisible, causing cars not to see them. Ideally the box should be painted in red, but at the very least, the markings should be repainted.

The pavement/driveway in front of ATS and Murketts is disintegrating in a long strip, exposing the hardcore underneath.

Bollard Broken, 23rd June

Another bollard protecting cyclists and pedestrians from reversing goods vehicles has been destroyed here. There are already several stumps from previously destroyed bollards. Strongly suspect goods vehicles delivering to 'La Mimosa' restaurant...

Reinstatement of road after roadworks, 20th June

There were some roadworks here last weekend, and assuming they are now finished, the trench has not been very smoothly filled on the northbound side of Hills Road nr Purbeck Rd, making a bumpy ride for cyclists. Hills Road surfacing generally is bad enough without new indentations being created - can those responsible for the trench last weekend please be asked to make the resurfacing smoother. Thanks

Damaged fencing, 20th June

The end of the square-cut fencing marking where pedestrians should cross to/from the shops on the corner of Metcalfe Road and Carlton Way appear to have been driven into and broken.

A shared pedestrian/cycle path begins here but going north there is no End of Cycle Route sign

Missing priority sign, 18th June

The sign that directs traffic travelling North-West over Magdelene Bridge to give priority to oncoming traffic is still missing. Many drivers are failing to give priority to oncoming cyclists creating a hazard to cycling the route.
