Hi As you are leaving the village of Swavesey you go passed Boxworth farm on your left. There is a black and white 'bend' sign on the left on the verge. Just in front of this there is a sunken drain cover. It is really dangerous and since the bad weather it has got a lot worse. If a motorbike went over it leaving the village at speed they would probably come off.

Littering, 7th February, sawtry

The footpath known as Blind Lane, Sawtry (currently being resurfaced - thank you) is often littered with paper, wrappers, cans etc which from observation is being dropped by students from Sawtry Community College who gather there at luch time after purcahsing food and drink from nearby shops. It would be nice now that the footpath is being resurfaced if the college could enforce some supervison of students at lunch time outside the school to prevent further littering.

Please fix the system that's supposed to detect traffic approaching from Malcolm St - otherwise the lights don't change. More than once I've been left waiting several minutes for lights that then don't change, presumably because bikes aren't being picked up properly.

This is in the same location as the one I reported in December, which was fixed. I'm not sure whether it's the same pothole which has re-opened, or a new one, but it's located just beyond the kerb outside No 65 Whitehill Road, CB5 8LU. It's about 30cm and growing. It's difficult to avoid this, as there are cars parked on the opposite side of the road.

Potholes on Back Road, 2nd February, CB21 4UG

There are three potholes on Back Road in Linton, one of which makes turning out of The Woodlands very difficult to avoid. One is in the middle of the road near the top of The Woodlands, the other is on the left a few metres up as you head into the village and the other is on the opposite side of the road right by the curb as you turn left out of Symonds Lane and onto Back Road as if you are coming out of the village.
