The corner of Peel Cottage Road and Winterbutlee Road is becoming overgrown with what I realise is Japanese Knotweed. As an invasive speicies, it is taking over the ground and heading down the bank towards the railway line. In addition there appears to be Himalayan balsam in the area which also needs controlling or removing.

Fly Tipping, 26th December

A pile of old car tyres and pieces of wood have been tipped on a small parking area adjacent to the Rochdale Canal at Bridge 37. Site is accessed from Todmorden Road via Deanroyd Road, and is on the left just before reaching the bridge.

Blocked pavements, 2nd November, OL14 7QU

The pavements on either side of Peel Cottage Road from Walsden station to Winterbutlee Road are often impassable. On one side the bank is overgrown with shrubs, on the other cars park right up to the wall of the house. Can the council have the shrubs cut back?

Leaving platform 2 there is no street light at the corner which means you are walking up the road (Kershaw Road?) in the dark until you turn the corner to Peel Cottage Road. This is unsafe especially when the weather turns colder and there is frost and ice to contend with.

Danger to pedestrians, 6th October, OL14 7EX

Individuals use the public footpath to the rear of Jubilee Way as access to cock hill wood on motor-cross bikes at speeds. Would it be possible for a Style or stepper blocks to be put in place to prevent what could be a fatal accident when children use this path on a regular basis? And simply allow Walkers and pets access. Close neighbours also have concerns.

The road running off Scott St. and following to Fir st. is in a dangerous state and each time it rains/snows it gets worse. There are a numer of children who pay here and could be easily hurt by the state of the road.

Dangerous Hole in Verge, 1st April

There is a significant hole in the grass at the edge of Kebs Road near the junction with Mount Lane heading towards Burnley. There are no warning signs for traffic. The hole is approx 51x52x24 inches.

A spring has been flowing for over two years, covering and freezing the pavement and one lane of Rochdale Road in winter. H&S hazard for pedestrians and drivers alike! Needs diverting or blocking.

There is quite a deep pothole on the entrance to the garage parking area on Lennox Road. It is right where the car wheel must travel over to gain access to this parking area. I fear it is only a matter of time before it causes potential damage to a resident's vehicle on the wheel or tyre. Please could it be filled? Many thanks in advance.
