Slippy pavement due to wet leaves, 11th November

The pavement on the Pitt Street side of Halifax Road, running adjacent with Derby Street and Cross Stone Road, is thick with fallen wet leaves, it is like a woodland track - on which I slipped and fell over, can it please be cleared, there are not any other leaves to fall now.

Potholes in unadopted roads, 4th September

The condition of Church Street in Heptonstall has become ridiculous, with the road immediately outside my house (24) now almost permanently underwater, and preventing me using my own front parking space to access my property. The condition of all unadopted roads in Heptonstall makes the village look neglected and verging on derelict. Please advise me how I can get this issue sorted out once and for all.

The sand in the sand pit for the children to play in at Calder Holmes park is black and full of stagnant water, this must be an environmental risk for the children that play in it, also there is a big metal box at one end with two padlocks on top this is very dangerous and easy for the children to fall on to or run into.

Potholes in car park, 11th June

There are huge potholes in the car park at Hallroyd Place and my elderly Grandmother had a stumble on one of them last tuesday and I feel they are a real health and safety hazzard as there are numerous elderly people who live in the flats and walk through the car park in order to get onto Hallroyd Road to use the bus stop, not to mention the damage that is being caused to the cars which use the car park. Apparently someone was seen messuring the car park back in January of this year but so far no further action has been taken and I feel this is a matter of urgency before someone is seriously injured

Leaking toilets and smell of sewage?, 25th May

There is a leak coming into the Garden street car park from the back of the Sports & Social club. It also smells like raw sewage. This has been an intermittent problem over the last few months.

Part demolished mill site, 11th May

The builders are quick to buy up land and start to clear it, but now house sales have dropped the site has been abandoned half cleared and is an eyesore to all. The hoarding is falling down and a couple are leaning over the wall towards the narrow footpath. Why can't it be cleared properly and left for kids to play football and cricket on until the builders are ready to move it on. Where is the social conscious, we have to look at this everyday.
