New problems to Calderdale Borough Council on FixMyStreet

Drain Cover Missing, 26th July

At the place marked on the map in West Street, Todmorden at the end of the public car park where it meets Blind Lane, the iron drain cover has been removed, and taken presumed stolen. This leaves a large deep drain open, it is extremely dangerous and has been this way for about a week. This could cause a seiuos RTA, or someone could step down it in the dark and brake a leg. Overgrown bushes, 24th July

It has become almost impossible to pass overgrown bushes in front of the house on Owler Walk. The path is obstructed by the bushes and nettles. It's also getting increasingly muddy on there.

Inappropriate in-filling used on Old Lane , 21st July

Tarmac and cement has been used, by the council, to patch up holes in multiple places in Old Lane between Knowlwood Road and Lumbutts Road, destroying the character of the old cobbled lane. Please can we have the tarmac removed and the sets lifted and repaired properly.

Old Lane needs spraying, 21st July

Old Lane between Knowlwood Road and Lumbutts Road is becoming mossy and has weeds growing between it's sets making it slippy to walk or ride on.

Subsidising tree, 9th July

Subsidising tree, that ive been watching gradually leaning over the last few months, tree growing and leaning over the wall and leaning over the road.

Hole in footpath, 6th July

There is a hole in the footpath by the rail bridge. It has been filled recently with some asphalt, which has simply slipped down in to the hole. Please can it be properly repaired?

Rubbish in Street, 6th July

The length of Halifax Old Road from the point marked on the map down to Mytholm Bridge is littered with rubbish.

You cannot see the Belisha beacons,on one side of the zebra crossing at shade todmorden for the overhanging trees,please could they be trimmed

Unsightly Area, 4th July

A "Sculpture" was placed in this small car-parking area a few years ago. That is now covered in graffiti, overgrown with weeds and becoming unsightly.

Blocked drains and broken glasses, 29th June

The drains on this street are blocked up - when it rains the water just cascades over them. there is litter - broken glass and junk food rubbish on the pavement.

Dangerous use of leisure facilities, 6th June

Roils Head Park has open access for vehicles so we get a lot of car joy riders and kids on scrambler bikes putting the many dog walkers, horse riders and children at risk, people dumping and torching cars, people driving onto and churning up the football and rugby pitches, drug addicts dumping used syringes, dealers setting off fireworks at night to tell the addicts that they are open for business and, perhaps worst of all, the council systematically taking away parts of the children's playground so they have very little left on which to amuse themselves. This is a fantastic space for the community who do a lot to keep it free of broken glass and general rubbish but the council need to review vehicular access and parking, and do something to improve the facilities for children's play in this intensly residential area.

Rubish tipping, 26th May

Since we arrived here in 1974 (20 Keighley Rd) our back street has been used to dump cars mattresses beds etc. We have to complain continually to environmental health to get it cleared up. Why cant someone from the council check up every few days and get it shifted or put up a camera and catch them?

Grass verge, 23rd May

This is a 40 mph road and therefore no parking allowed after dark. However, there is nowhere else for the residents to park except for on the grass verge, which gets very muddy in the winter. Is there no way the council can tarmac this verge to make parking spaces for the residents, or reduce the speed limit to allow parking?
