<title>Damage to car, 13th February, MK17 9AQ</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/231466</link>
<description>There are 2 pot holes at the top of Pound Hill adjacent to Rotten Row. They are on the right hand side of the road as you go towards Little Brickhill. On Friday I was unable to avoid both the pot holes due to oncoming traffic and as a consequence have buckled my rear offside alloy wheel. I have had a tyre company and a wheel refurbishment company look at the wheel and it is not repairable. I have ordered a new one at £197 excluding cost of stripping tyre off old one and fitting to new rim. As a resident in the village I can advise that last year another pot hole in the village cost me more than this when it fractured the front shock absorber mounting. The roads in and around the village are appalling and you have to thread your way around the potholes to try and avoid damage. Will the council pay for the damage to my wheel?? When will the holes be repaired?
&lt;br&gt;Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): Pound Hill &amp; Rotten Row &amp; Green End, Great Brickhill

<title>Traffic On Pipers Lane, Great Kingshill, 4th February, HP15 6LW</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/229659</link>
<description>This small and pretty country lane is blighted by the large amount of traffic that uses it during the morning and afternoon &amp;quot;school run&amp;quot; to &amp;quot;Pipers Corner&amp;quot; a private school situated at the end of the lane. the impact of the traffic is threefold, (1) the lane is being slowly destroyed as vehicles encroach ever further on to the verges and (2) the road surface is full of pot holes, once again as a consequence of the weight of traffic and (3) there is a significant safety risk as the road for most of its length has the national speed limit assigned to it. This is clearly inappropriate and dangerous as walkers use the road and their is no footpath along most of its length.
