Broxtowe Council have recently put up warning notices on Walker Street to deter dog fouling, which seems to be having some effect - thank you. However, there is an increasing dog fouling problem around Kirby Road, Whitby Road and Serlby Road. Please could you put up further warning notices in these areas (or provide me with the notices and I will attach to telegraph poles).

Illegal parking opposite entrace to drive ways, 18th January, NG9 5HW

I would like to report a neighbour who repeatedly parks accross the bottom of his drive, blocking access to our own drive on the opposite side of the road due to the narrow nature of the road, and access to his neighbour house. He does this any time some body on the steet parks out side his house (where there are no parking restrictions). There is normally space either 1 house up the street or down, and he has a drive he rarely uses. I have asked him on numerous occations to not block the drives, and he does move his car when asked, but as soon as "his space" is not free he parks there again just to make a point. (the car parked there is not even mine or his next door neighbours). The reg is Y977 JDM it is a gold Volvo V40 etstate Y977 JDM

Dog mess, graffiti & litter, 2nd December

The 'twitchell' between Brookhill Street & Queen Elizabeth Park is always an eye-sore. It frequently suffers with dog mess, grafitti & litter. It's so unfair as this area is used daily by school children & local residents. The park is such a pretty area, but the 'twitchell' is shameful. I am always asking my child to be careful where he steps.

Colliers wood is a haven for dog walkers, yet this particular gate which is just a few yards away from the busy B600 has no fence on either side! Can you please fix it to stop eager dogs running through onto the road?

Young ginger haired girl walking a brown staffy dog with a pink collar letting it foul everywhere and not picking it up. Ive seen this girl on 4 occasions on burrows avenue, boundary road and central. Dog poo outside my house and all up the streets were all sick of it time you put some notices up and sent the warden out.

I have had a lot of dog fouling outside my house and this mornig I went out to runny poo directly outside my house. Please clean it up and send the dog warden arround. There is also dog poo on the footpath down the side of my property.

Broken concrete pillar at side of entrance to public footpath - next to awsworth day nursery. pillar is broken and rusted metal sticks out which is dangerous to any who pass nearby

Traffic Island, 13th July, Main Street Awsworth

What a refreshing change to see an island free of litter and such a beautiful display of wild flowers. The colours are amazing and a credit to the grounds maintenance team at Broxtowe Borough Council. The area attracts many visitors from far afield because of the Ikea store close by. There should be more islands as beautiful as this all over the country.

Overgrown tree causing hazard, 5th July, NG9 6GR

The overgrown lime tree at the junction of Kensington Close and the High road has been a hazard since April. The leaves at the tree base obstruct visibility for drivers when entering the High Road. They also obstruct pedestrians on the pavement where there is room only for single file because of the tree. The hazard has been telephoned to Broxtowe Council several times and also to this website but action has not yet been taken. It is a very dangerous situation. I urge the relevant staff to make an urgent visit and take action asap please.

This car is a nissan 100nx reg plate K2 GNA. the car has been here over a year now and was towed to this place. the car has not been taxed for 4 years now and is taking up a parking space!!!

Overgrown path, 22nd June

The "multi use" path was finished in 2007. It was over 7' wide. Now it is barely 2' in places! Cyclists struggle to pass dog walkers and vice versa. Can you please arrange to have the weeds and bushes cut back, restore it's former glory?

Parked Cars, 17th June

Since the charges for parking were introduced, earlier this year, cars have started to park on Cliffe Hill Avenue. This is dangerous as when cars come around the corner, either from Toton Lane or Windsor Street, they are faced with a line of parked cars. This has been an ongoing problem for a while now and needs to change before a serious accident occurs.

Tree needs base pruning, 17th June

The lime tree at the entrance to Kensington Close is causing an obstruction when driving out of the Close as the leaves at the base of the tree are almost covering the pavement and it is very difficult to see oncoming traffic. An accident waiting to happen.
