Back Crawford Street there is a single settee that has been dumped which hampers my partners access to her property.

The surface of Lostock Junction Lane is quite badly broken up between Briksdal Way and Glengarth Drive. A bit of resurfacing work certainly wouldn't come amiss.

No gates, 12th June

I am a single mother of three children aged six, four and nearly one I have lived in my council property since April 2007, When i moved in i noticed there were no front gates , I enquired and was told it would be done soon after moving in. The second time i phoned i was told it was not in their day today repair budget and will only be done if a programme for fencing and gates was in the area and this could be years away or even never. I have complained several times and am told if I want gates to buy them myself. I cannot afford them as I am on benefits and rthey are rather expensive I live on westland avenue which you are probably aware ia a fairly busy road , connected to two main roads either side. It is also a bus route I always supervise my children but I would like for them to beable to play out in the front garden without havingto worry about them getting onto the road and being knocked down, there is a big gap where the gates should be and this si very unsafe I am, also unavle to sort my front garden or relay the flags which are very uneven and another hazard for small children , I cannot do any work in the front garden due to the risk of the chuildren getting out if my back is turned I am very unhappy with farnworth housings response, therefore is there anything you as a councillor can do to get them to put up gates or fencing so my children can be safer

Road between Adelaide St/Cavendish Gardens/Ellesmere Gardens/Henley Grove, 9th June

The road surface is corrupted and there are large potholes over a ten metre stretch of the road from United Taxis down to Sunnyside Care Home. These affect traffic speeds over the speed humps. It is impossible to control vehicles accurately or safely because of the corrupted surface of the road.

Road is flooding, 3rd June

Every time it rains, this part of Bolton Road floods across the full width of the park side of the road. This is drenching pedestrians on the pavement, and causing vehicles to swerve. I don't know if there is a blocked drain there, or no drain at all, but it is definitely a hazard.

Grange rd bromley cross, 30th May

This road is in a poor state of repair. Bolton Council fail to fulfill their obligation to maintain the public right of way which is their responsibility. They expect the residents of this unadopted road to pay for it

Disgracefull state of poperty 167, 3rd May

The state of this property is draging the whole area down. The wall fell down long ago and the loose bricks give the local youthes, who congrigate outside, plenty of amunition to damage local property and cars. The rear of the shop is equally as bad.I and the owners of the house oppostie have reqested the shopkeepers to "tidy the place up" but to no avail.

The pothole is at the traffic light (turning left onto bridgeman street) Also the road on Bridgeman street (going towards town) is very poor, alot of drivers are suddenly stopping/swerving to avoid potholes (especially near the new build flats/apartments and near the nursing home)the road surface seems to be getting worse.

Littering, 23rd April

On Monday (21/04/08) this week, I was stopped in a queue of traffic waiting for the lights at the bottom of Vernon street to change.The car in front of me, a Vauxhall, Reg number X282RNW wound down his window and threw out three handfulls of waste paper which blew everywhere.If there is anything you can do about this please do as it was disgusting to watch. Bad Parking, 24th April

From 9:30 to midnight this part of the road is being parked on by people stopping for food at the new takeaways this is narrowest part of the road cars are badly parked with lights on facing on coming traffic doors opening,people walkingin the road, food and boxes/paper being thrown in the road, it's been a growing issue for over 18 months now.

Tree planting, 16th April

As there is a new tree being planted in 12 orchid avenue's foot path,i am finding it dificult to park my vehicle.i would appreciate if you could take this matter as an immediate concern.

A number of potholes have appeared on the top and middle section of Valletts lane. one near the church rd end is deep and could easily damage car wheels

The whole of the Blackrod Bypass from here to the Middlebrook roundabout of M61 is a wash with littler of every kind. Under the "Enviromental Protection act 1990" the council are obliged to clean up the verges and hedge rows.Soon the undergrowth will mask the problem on the farside of the hedge but the problem is still there. Is the answer to landfill to leave the rubbish on the surface?

Environmental damage, 1st April

Tree felling over an 18 month period at the plantation adjacent to Belmont road/Scout road has left an environmental disaster, with rejected/wind fallen trees and associated debris strewn everywhere, including across the road verges and boundaries. All this within The West Pennine Park area. The forest owners must be made to act more responsibly, if the park concept is worth anything.

Dangerous pavement condition, 1st April

Very poor patched/uneven surface on western pavement adjacent to The Beeches, making negotiation by elderly pedestrians difficult and by wheelchair, both very uncomfortable and DANGEROUS. So deep are some of the cavities/ruts, the smaller front wheels of wheelchairs become lodged, pitching the occupant forward.
