The owner of a works Van constantly ignores the 'No Entry' Sign on this street, and the 'One Way' sign too. Every evening in his return home from work he drives down the street from the direction of Lynthorpe Rd where the 'No Entry' sign is placed, quite clearly, then persists on reversing the van onto the pavement then driving the van forwards to park as close to the 'One Way' sign, that he more or less touches it with the front of the van. This results in him driving the van out the wrong end of a One Way street every day, causing potential accidents happening on Pritchard Street. The driver of the van lives on Pritchard Street, and this is the second van he has parked in this way, after his previous van was involved in a traffic accident recently with all the front end smashed in. I was walking my dog home from a relatives on Lynthorpe Road on Saturday evening and he almost ran us over as he reversed the van onto the pavement. I have uploaded one photo but I do have more.

One of the black barriers at the sides of the speed breaker has been knocked down and a big hole is left where it was standing. This is a public liability risk as the hole is over 1 foot deep and there are loose bricks lying about. The actual black pole that was knocked down has since gone missing. But the hole that is left can cause injury to children and pedestrians.

At each side of the entrance to Wasdale Avenue is an area that had some overgrown bushes. These have been cut down but the stems are very hard and have been cut pointed. The stems are dense in number and are approx 12-18 inches high. If a child had to fall onto them they may be severely injured. As you know there is a secondary school close by and lots of children walk down Shadsworth Road the children often act silly as children do and it only takes a moment of sillyness to fall into them. Please have a look at them and see what you think.
