Fly tipping and broken glass, 7th January, BA3 3YE

I use this road on my way to work through the estate, and there has been a wooden sideboard and mattresses left on the side of the road which blew over in the recent wind and resulted in smashed glass all over the pavement. My children walk this way to school and am worried about them either walking the in road to avoid this or walking through the broken glass.

Fly-tipping on Lilac Terrace, 6th January, BA3 2AP

There is a problem with excessive fly-tipping on Lilac Terrace in Midsomer Norton, please see photo. People are seeing this road as a dumping ground, and it often gets so bad that you can't even walk on the pavement. The bags are frequently put out half way through the week. Foxes and cats duly rip open the bags and expose such items as bones, razor blades and personal hygiene items. There has even been dead rats in the vicinity due to the excessive amounts of waste. I see this as a matter of urgency for the council to address as it is becoming a public health issue.

Sign facing the wrong way and very faded road markings, 11th November, BA3 2AP

There is a sign on the A362 Radstock Road that has been facing the wrong way for a very long time. It should be to warn motorists of an upcoming 20mph limit outside Welton School at certain times but as it is facing the wrong way no one can see it therefore people speed past the school with no idea it's even there. To add to the situation the road markings have been so badly neglected that they are barely visible making the road very dangerous for both motorists and pedestrians.

There is a plastic pipe sticking up out of the ground on the footpath leading to the Sales Office for the new houses on this site. The trip hazard is on the left hand pavement with petrol station on your left.

Refuse in pathway, 8th November, Stanley Road West, Bath

There is a mattress and other debris blocking the footpath between the gardens of Stanley Road West and the Railway line. This area might be the responsiblity of the homeowners, but it is becoming a risk to health and safety for both local residents and wildlife.

There has been no repair to the fencing which could protect a vehicle forced to leave the road from descending a hundred feet or more feet into the valley below.

The kerbstones are raised above the level of the pavement. My grandaughter tripped on this. This is a major danger to pedestrians and particularly affects primary aged schoolchildren. Please note that although I live in Wiltshire the problem is in BANES.
