'Water Run' street name sign should be at the beginning of the road, ie at its junction with Brettenham Road, rather than a hundred metres or so down the road. Similarly, the 'The Causeway' sign should also be where that road begins at its junction with Brettenham Road, rather than nearly a mile down the road.

A car has been parked in the same place for about 2 weeks. It's a dark blue peugeot 406 reg number:Y496DVC and the road tax ran out on the 31st august. It's parked in the first layby on the right hand side as you drive down the road. I have never seen the vehicle parked around here before.

Can the council tell me why there seems to be a rule for one and a rule for others? The gentleman? at 1 Glebe Close who has recently moved in to join his partner, has put up what i would call a monstrosity fence around the property and has put ridiculous toys etc., inside making it a complete eyesore to the area. The bungalows in Glebe Close, i was told many years ago, were all open plan, so no fencing of any sort was to be put up. Number 1 also, was a disability bungalow, 3 bed, it was made that way when a gentleman called Jack lived there for his disabled wheelchair bound son. I have been informed, it may be hearsay, that the gentleman in question did a similar thing at his own property in Shotley. With all the problems that you can see on this site involving this area, why don`t the council learn from their many mistakes, after all, we cannot all be wrong!

Hello, Despite contacting the County Council Highways department, no action has been undertaken. About eight weeks ago, I fell from my motorcycle outside my house on the loose chippings following surfacing. Over the past few weeks, I have come close to falling again. I have asked for a road sweeper to pick up the excess chippings, but to date, nothing has been done. Last weekend, I fell again. Please chase the CC for me. Thanks. Mitch

Someone with 2 dogs living in Glebe Close regularly let their dogs mess on the green opposite the bungalows. These idiots has no thought for the young children that play on there. These people need educating and told about the diseases that arise from animal faeces, but then this is common sense to most people.
