Parking, 2nd July

When exiting Dundas Park by car and you come to the junction with Drumaclie Loan it is impossible to see if there is any traffic coming up or down Drumachlie Loan due to amount of traffic parked in front of the the houses and how close they are to the corner of Drumachlie Loan and Dundas Park.
Drumachlie Loan can be a dangerous road as drivers like to speed when travelling on this road to avoid pulling in when cars pull out of Dundas Park not knowing if there is any cars on the road.
Over the years there has been a few bumps and there was a car burst in to flames.

Incosiderate parking , 14th April

To whom it may concern.
Myself and my nieghbours are finding it most annoying about people parking outside our drives
at the beginning of school times and end of school days in front of numbers 51 to 65. there are a small band of people who almost every day come and park in front of our homes and leave thir cars for sometimes as much as an hour we have asked them to park on the other side of the road to allow us entry and exit from our driveways but have had no joy with this we have consulted with the school and they put letters out with the children which has not helped we asked the police to intervene but they said that it is the roads departments problem so could you please see if it is possible to have no parking in front of our homes as you have this in place further up our avenue .thank you.

Sand over Road, 10th April

There has been quite a lot of sand been blown all over this corner of the road, making it very hazardous and slippy for both cars and motorcycles especially. There has been an attempt to clean this over the last few weeks, but without success. As the winds pick up more sand is deposited from the near by fields.

It still remains a hazard and requires reactive action to rectify the amount of sand be blown from the field and the banking around this corner, before a serious incident occurs.

Lack of, 5th April

There are 2 lights in this area around the garages. For the last 3-4 years they have been on 24/7, this was reported at that time. Response was that fault was underground, then on reporting again not a council problem but electric cable supplying company problem. However, these lights are now not working at all. Elderly people use the garages here, and there is a risk now as it is so dark in the evening.

Erosion of verge, 27th March

Due to insufficient road width to cope with traffic, including HGV's passing one another, the verge on this piece of road has eroded significantly in the past 14 months. Coupled with the speeding and not infrequent dangerous driving at a point adjacent to a bad bend in the road, this makes walking along this stretch extremely dangerous for my family and for the numerous walkers on this route. There have been previous accidents at this spot although not, as yet, involving any pedestrians. However there is now an increased pedestrian use of verges on this road.

Road Requires Repairs, 30th January

The road at the marked point has a series of potholes, which I have been unfortunalty hitting dailly getting to my home.
I have recently has to make car repairs due to this. Due to on-coming traffic it makes it a serious hazard trying to avoid these whilst driving on this road.
