In the centre of the road there is a large dip forming. Due to cars parking on the left hand side as you drive down Grange Road your cars off side wheel frequently drops into the dip with quite a jar.

Sinking access cover surround, 30th January

The access cover situated towards the centre of the east bound carriageway of Ferry Road is collapsing due to traffic and now is just under 4 " deep all around the metal cover.

Dangerous Tree Roots lifting road surface, 7th January

Dear Council, the bend on this road has tree roots growing under and lifting the surface in two places close together. This is extremely dangerous for motorcyclists and I have seen more than one almost lose control into oncoming traffic! The roots are on the bend and blind to riders going from Brechin to Montrose. Persistant dog fouling, 2nd January, DD11 1SX

I stay at 53 brechin road, abroath and on a daily basis i am faced with the unpleasant task of clearing up dog mess from the end of my driveway. In addiditon the whole of brechin is covered with dog mess, from the shop right to the bottom, this would indicate that the problem is coming from somone with a dog living in the Bruce Road area. I would be grateful is something could be done to deal with this issue. Thanks

Street light not working, 16th December, DD10 9AS

Hi there, there is a street light at the back of Rutland Crescent which leads down to the cycle path that isn't working. This particular light is beside the allotments inbetween 20-22 Rutland Crescent unfortunately the label is faded so I can't get the light reference number but the closest light to it is MGX9 and the light that is broken is on the grass lane between the two cycle paths.

The section of road downhill from Kirkton of Auchterhouse towards Bonnyton and onwards is very dangerous due to serious cracking and potholing. It has been recently "repaired" and it is now worse. I use this regularly on my way home. The other night in the dark I hit some rough surface that damaged the rear wheel of my bicycle. Please deal with it urgently.

The shrubs in this area are a real mess. They have not been attended to for a couple of years. There is rubbish in amongst the bushes and the grass is not being cut properly between the bushes and my garden. The grass on the banking is also not being cut any more.This area is a real mess and I am embarrassed to bring people to my home. This used to be a well kept area, please tidy this up.

I have lived in bellevue gardens for 15 years and have not once seen anyone fix any of the many pot holes or broken pavements. A few years ago they came and dug up tracks for new lamp posts and filled them in again. Wouldnt it have been better to resurface the whole area in a oner. If this is not possible then what does my council tax, road tax and my normal tax go towards. If I was one of the many drug takers or not wont to workers then the council would have been all over this.If my cars suspension breaks or I trip on the paths will they be happy to pick up the bill.

The road surface is very poor in this area and has started to disentagrate leaving large holes (which are particularly dangerous to cyclists). Can you repair please?

Screws on road, 17th September, DD11 3LW

MITIE seem to have the contract to repair Angus Council housing stock. When they (joiners)carry out repairs down our street they always leave screws strewn accross the road which have fallen out the back of the van!. Today 17/09/11 I picked up yet again more screws on the road outside my house. It costs £12 to have a puncture repaired that is assuming that the damage is not in the near wall of the tyre whereby you have to buy a new tyre which is more expensive. I would like the council as MITIE employer to take some responsibility and speak to mitie asking the joiners to be more carefull in the future regarding this issue. Thanks

Road surface, 17th June

Large pothole on bend. Rubble scattered across road. Dangerous for cars and Bicycles. Danger of stones hitting parked cars from cars passing. Another large pothole 25m before this one. Has been there now for over one year. Pavement at bend of house no 11 badly broken up and a danger to pedestrians.

The road outside my house has been left for years. and just after that last winter,the potholes have became craters. the road is destroying cars
