Parking issue at end of Milnhay Road, 26th April

Following the introduction of parking charges at the Langley Mill Railway Station, there is now a totally empty car park during the day with the cars parked along the roadside. This is becoming very dangerous as the road has a sharp bend which now has cars parked on both sides of it leaving just one lane of traffic. Given that all vehicles use this including HGV's on a daily basis and that Milnhay Road is used as a cut through the road is very busy and more importantly dangerous. Consideration should be given to removing the parking charges as this cannot have generated any additional revenue for the council just created a dangerous situation.

Rubbish on A38, 10th April

A recreation ground used by many is being plagued by a persistent few dog owners failing to pick up after their dogs, often done under cover of darkness but sometimes blatently in daylight. rottweilers and labradors defecate, with the knoweledge of their owners who are too idle to clean up. This is disgraceful,spreads disease and disgruntlement and causes disgust. Can law enforcement help locals protect this park?

Trees and hedgerow blocking lights and pavement, 16th November

No maintenance carried out on trees and hedges to high and wide blocking the light from the lamp posts and encroaching onto the pavement making it difficult to walk on especially when pushing a pram etc I live in the house opposite this hedgerow and its now so high that its blocking the light onto and into our property. We have lived here for the past 20 years and the hedge has never been cut down or maintained. It needs lying so that it grows correctly

High Street is a narrow two car width road, people are now parking two cars abreast where the road widens into private driveways at the top forcing traffic onto private drives and reducing the carriageway width, effectively blocking the road for any vehicle larger than a car. This in my opinion poses a severe hazard for the residents if emergency services are required.

Blocked Bridleway, 5th October

Bridleway is blocked by gate and signs which claim there is no right of way. This is not the case, since this bridleway is shown clearly on OS Maps, and sustrans website. Clearly a local resident has chosen to deny the public their right of access to this route, and cause an obstruction in an attempt to make a public area private.

Cars are being parked on the junction and round the corners onto Jaeger Close. This makes it very difficult to pull onto Penn Street safely due to the speed at which cars are driven down Penn Street, many of which are using this as a short cut.
