<title>Street lighting, 13th February</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/231520</link>
<description>There are still loads of street lights which remain out in the Hillside area (all over)... There are 3 within 50 yards on Hillside Rd between Eskywell &amp;amp; Schoolhill Road...it is very dark around there &amp;amp; this is a Health &amp;amp; Safety issue and someone needs to deal with it. There are lots of pedestrians including children using this area.

<title>Street Lights out - Torry Road, 27th January, AB54 8LE</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/227729</link>
<description>I reside at 6 Torry Road Huntly and the whole street has been without Street lighting for at least a week. I called to report it earlier this week and was advised someone would be out within 2 hours. Last night I fell walking home from work in the pitch dark, and it's quite scary when the pavements are icy. I have also stood in Dogs mess which is also a problem in Torry Road, it is really becoming a problem! I called the Council again this morning to be advised it's a 'Hydro' problem and a was given a job number and advised to call them. On calling the Hydro they advised they had no job from the council and the job number did not exist and told me to tell the Council it has not been reported to them by the Council and even though myself and other residents have called they cannot attend the fault until the Council report it! I have called the Council again to advise them of this however they insist they have given the Hydro the details!!! I would like this now to be dealt with very urgently, surely it's not down to me to be chasing the Hydro on a job they no nothing about! Really frustrating to be told earlier this week it would be attended to that day now I discover due to 'lack of communciation' between the Council and Hydro no one has even been to look at the fault.

<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/226534</link>
<description>King street is a popular dog walking area most owners are responsible but the problem is they deposit the doggie bags in my dustbin at 37 and sometimes they burst leaving me to clean my bin fairly often , we have asked before about getting a dog litter bin at the bottom of King street without success I hope we can get one now

<title>What a mess...Hillside roads,pavements &amp; parks, 22nd January, AB12 4SE</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/226391</link>
<description>Once again we are left furious by the lack of attention being paid to the Hillside area. If you install roads, pavements &amp;amp; parks then they need to be maintained, regardless of who 'owns' them. We only walked about a mile or so with the kids today, but had to dodge loads of dog poo again, broken bottles, litter everywhere, including cans, bottles etc &amp;amp; the bins in the parks were once again overflowing, it's a disgrace. That's before we even mention the state of the road surfaces, caked with mud as usual. The number of cars parked on/over pavements and over xing points is now at an all time high, but that's what happens when the authorities choose not to enforce the law. Everyone then thinks it's ok to inconvenience those with buggies, kids and the elderly...&amp;amp; it's an accident waiting to happen.

<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/226106</link>
<description>I went to look at a flat at 27 g maiden street peterhead, I could not believe the amount of household rubbish, furniture , electrical goods that have been dumped at the property it is a health and safety hazard and also an environmental hazard as due to the amount of furniture and food waste and animal excretia there must be rodents / any amount of vermin, I am not at this point criticising the council as they may not be aware of it as you need to go down a small alleyway to gain access to the flat, but something must be done about this

<title>Hillside - Refuse, Oil leaks &amp; Dog Poo, 3rd January, AB12 4SE</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/221545</link>
<description>Our street, gardens &amp;amp; the surroundings roads were this morning covered in refuse &amp;amp; oily deposits wherever the refuse truck had stopped. We can probably blame the weather &amp;amp; some people being rather inconsiderate to their 'neighbours' for the incredible amount of rubbish now blowing around, but I would suggest that the oil will lie around for longer than the rubbish, and indeed the truck clearly needs attention too.

Also, whilst out walking we have again witnessed an incredible amount of dog poo on footpaths in the surrounding area. Even my 3 year olds commented on how it was 'disgusting'. Clearly the two dog bins provided are insufficient for the area. We are aware that there were originally due to be eight. Are there any plans to supplement the current two? Also what monitoring/enforcement action is being taken by the council to reduce this problem?

We do appreciate that these may be 'environmental/waste' issues rather than roads, so please feel free to pass on to the appropriate department.

(Note location is just indicative - as issue is Hillside wide)
