The main rain drain/sewer has collapsed and is now open via the road surface outside street farm Barn and opposite Ireleth house It is a hole deeper than a pot hole as it has opened into the man drain. Thank you

Fallen Tree Accross Highway, 27th February, riddlesworth

There's a fallen tree blocking the NW end of this track, which I believe is technically a public highway. (It's marked on my OS map as an "other route with public access".) The route is easily passable on foot, bicycles can be lifted over without too much difficulty, and horses will probably be ok. But it would prevent motor vehicles from passing.

Road Safety Negligence by Anglian Water, 13th September, kenninghall

Although responsibility for this pothole may properly rest with Anglian Water, they are exhibiting a negligent attitude to its road safety effects and I would therefore like the "Highways Authority" to either oversee additional action by AW or take action itself in the interim. There is a large water-filled pothole 600 x 400 mm size and 90 mm deep on the southward-travelling side of this road, in the track of vehicles' LHS wheels. I'm not sure of the exact cause of the hole - possibly a leaking water main. It will not be possible to repair the hole until the water leak is first rectified. AW have placed a notice stating it is "Job 3544 2059", dated 8-9-10. This significantly deep and wide pothole is NOT IN ANY WAY marked for approaching traffic. IMO, the narrow width of the road necessitates an (uncontrolled) closure of the southward lane, marked with Keep Right/Left arrows and advance Roadworks signage - because it isn't possible to pass the hole (by car) when there is oncoming (car) traffic. No traffic safety equipment has been placed as of early morning 13-9-10, despite AW having evidently been aware of this situation since their visit of 8-9-10. I narrowly avoided it myself earlier this morning (Monday); fortunately there was no oncoming traffic at that moment, so I was able to swerve! Please treat (the SAFETY SIGNING of) this pothole as an URGENT matter, upon commencement of office hours, Monday!
