This lane is used by dog walkers numerous times each day. There are lots of responsible dog owners but others are not. Some regularly allow their dogs to foul the verges and gardens in the lane and fail to clean up after them.

Now that almost 30 new dwellings are at Burtons Mill, a path is needed on South West side A149 from the footpath to where the crossing is, to go over the main road at Upper Staithe Road. Or the crossing moved to cross at Lower Staith Road.

There are 2 potholes on the southern road edgewhich are about 4-7 inches deep and which intrude into the carriageway by at least 8 inches. The road here is narrow anyway, but if oncoming traffic is present , it is almost impossible to avoid them. We have already had to replace a tyre due to side-wall damage here.

The central broken white lines have almost faded away with at this extremely dangerous area. They need painting like yesterday we don't want another lorry in the pub. Street Hill and The Street Neatishead.
