Sat Nav Error, 22nd July

The section of Wybunbury Road directly after the level crossing is wrongly mapped on sat navs etc. as being Wistaston road. This has caused numerous problems with deliveries from couriers, supermarkets and such, as people unfamiliar with the area are confused by this. If someone could get the maps corrected, it would make life a lot easier! Thanks!

Deep pothole Canal Centre entrance, 5th July

Three potholes here, one very deep,mean it is dangerous for vehicles keeping left & especially all those turning left into entrance drive a few feet further on.

Dangerous traffic 'calming', 30th June

Last yr islands were built in Welsh Row to make single line traffic, one outside Malbank School and one by Queens Drive. There is no clear signage to indicate cars must STOP and allow traffic through from other direction. As pedestrian I feel more vulnerable now than before they did the 'calming'. Have asked Cllr to help but nothing happened. Pse put signs up like the one attached, in nearby Marsh Lane

Dreadfull state of the road, 28th June

The stretch of road leading from B5130 to Wrexham Industrial Estate on Oak Road is like driving off road. It was like this before the cold weather in January so that cannot be used as an excuse.

Anti Social Behaviour, 11th April

Today from before 8:00am we have had thousands of extremely loud bikes roaring along the roads around Whitchurch, A41, A49 etc Anyone living by has had an horrendous time caused by the anti social behaviour caused by all these motor bikes: speeding, broken exhausts, dangerous over taking and reckless driving. The noise makes the house shake and scares children and pets. I have neighbours who work night shifts at the local hospital and can’t sleep through this horrendous disturbance. This event seems to be organised by a café at the Junction of the A41 and A49. This is only one week after every one was disturbed by a biker festival again on the A41 nearby. The council should never allow these events to go on, let alone be one weekend after another. The police should be stopping all the illegal and noisy bikes. Why should Shropshire be invaded by all these illegal riders from outside the area who just cause a great nuisance to the Shropshire residents. I have heard this café is trying to organise regular Tuesday night events when residents are already trying to close down the Thursday night similar event at near by stormy petrel.

Pavement directly outside 40 Talbot Way, 7th March

The pavement area directly outside the driveway of 40 Talbot Way, Stapeley is starting to generate a hole in the tarmac. Given that this is directly in front of the entrance to my driveway and more importantly a main pavement used by the elderly, children and local blind residents, can something be one to patch the hole before it gets out of hand? Noisy Ilegal Speeding Bikes, 4th March

Please can you control these noisy and speeding bikes every Thursday Night and weekends through summer. The Stormy Petrel Public House attracts these bikes with its Thursday night meetings it should have its license removed as it is just being a nuisance in the area. It is clear from the racket made that a significant number of the bikes are not road worthy and probably not road legal in many other ways. A large proportion of these bikers have no regard for speed limits, rules of the road, other road vehicles and definitely have no regard for the residents in the area. We are all sick of the noise from the illegal bikes and there has already been a death due to the dangerous driving. Although not all of the bikers have illegal bikes and use the roads as a race track a lot do and get away with it year after year. It’s about time someone does their job and make the roads safer and quieter for the residents. It is high time the council got together with the other agencies and authorities and put a stop to these blatant illegal activities. The council should be made to coordinate a series of initiatives to rid the area of this nuisance and return Shropshire to its normal pleasant surroundings.
