Double gates left open leading directly onto the London - Holyhead railway line. Very dangerous for children. Also lots of flytipping in this area.

Dangerous tin sheeting across footpath, 1st September

A public footpath from Hurlbutts Drive to the River Dee has a very dangerous piece of tin sheeting overhanging into the footpath.The adjoining property looks empty.

On Roundabout nearest to Prezzo, I am uncertain on the map detail, CH65 9HD. Seam in tarmac gone leaving hole approx 24"x8" by 4" deep, large enough to affect steering

state of our roads, 16th August

Our Close has not had any opt holes or anything else dealt with concerning our roads for over 10 years. I have reported it to CWCC over 2 months ago and was told someone would contact me after 7 days the failed to do so my report No is 4713036 I see old people walking down Egerton road on the road because the paths are so bad they are afraid to walk on them

Poor Footpath, 14th August

I have read the updates from the Council regarding complaints from residents about Army Lane footpath. This is not a rural footpath as quoted by the Council. This is a vital footpath linking a large housing estate to the main road. This is in the town town and as such should not be classed as a rural footpath. The Council should be encouraging residents to walk and support the local shops. The state of this footpath encourages residents to drive to the shops and to avoid the town and drive further afield to Tesco and Asda. Redrow built Forest Walk and they are now building the new estate on the brick works site both sites surrounding the footpath. Can they please be approached to provide funding to bring this footpath up to a standard that would allow its use all year round? This cost would be a very small amount in relation to their development costs and would bring them a lot of good press from local residents who rely on this footpath. What is required is the footpath to be cleared of vegetation on either side to make it wider and a much more substantial surface put down. Although we can't make people use them, some dog foul bins would also be beneficial for the responsible dog owners to use. If this path was of a better standard I think people would feel more embarrassed if their dogs were seen to be fouling it. Please, please can something more substantial be done with this problem rather than saying that it is sufficient? The residents would really like to feel safe when using this footpath and not be afraid to let children walk along it from fear of being soiled with dog dirt and mud.

Rubbish on cleveleys prom, 4th August

The photo is taken on South Promenade C Cleveleys at the junction of Victoria Road West The man shown in picture works for Fylde Borough Council He stated his role is to empty Bins on promenade and leave them on the promenade for a following vehicle to pick the bags up but as you can see the seagulls open up the bags and the refuse goes all over the area before it is picked up

The footpath linking Forest Walk Buckley to Chester Road Buckley requires a more sustainable foundation. I understand that prevention of dog fouling is almost impossible but a more permanent foundation would help the public to use the footpath all year around.
