Disgusting road beside Jobcentre = Midlands' worst?, 23rd May, sparkhill

Very occasionally, I have to visit the Job-Centre at 10 Stoney Lane, Sparkbrook, Birmingham. Large amounts of rubbish have been fly-tipped in the un-named road; over a period of more than twelve months. There are several evidences of builders and roofers fly-tips, along with absolutely loads of general and plastic refuse. I also noticed some rodents' faeces near fast-food wrapping debris, an obvious health hazard. I guess that the Council has probably not been asked to adopt this publicly-open road beside the JobCentre; which also allows access to its gated staff-only car park. If the road is unadopted, the JobCentre must be told to clean up this public hazard; if not, it must be added to the street-cleansing rota. This small road could currently be the Midlands' worst display of long-term gratuitous fly-tipping.

Rats in playground., 20th May, chedder road balsall heath

Dear Birmingham City Council, I think that pest control is needed urgently next to the play park in calthorpe park. Today (20/05/12) I noticed rats running around next to the play ground. The rats reside in the uncut grassy area next to the river. This is obviously a health hazard as many young people and children use the play area and rat droppings etc are unhealthy. There appears to be a large rat infestation in under optical express on the high street. Main access seems to be under the black netal cabinet in Castle street. Saw a couple of rats emerge, run to the litter bin then run back.

A council skip from outside no 121 Ivor rd has been removed but they have left a load of rubbish and a large concrete block on the pavement as well as a couple of koans on the road where the rubbish is. This is dagerous as well as ocupying a space for a car which on this road is very necessary. So please can you come out and move the rubbish the concrete block and the koans ASAP. Thanks

There is an abandoned sofa that has been left at the back of Walmer Court flats. It has been left there and the state of it after being there several weeks is disgusting! It is located at the back of the flats by the waste bins, as if expected for normal bin men to take it! If this sofa could be removed, I'm sure it would make myself and other neighbours happy!
