This is my second complaint as my first one has been ignored because according to street doctor there is no action necessary. the path is uneven on the left hand side as you walk up Adams Avenue and there are no street lights at all on this side of the street now therefore it is a MAJOR tripping hazard especially for my husband who has poor mobility and eye sight. he is unable to walk down his street at night now because he has fallen and tripped numerous times. something needs to be done about it before he has a very serious accident.

Poor lighting to ally enterance, 24th January, NN4 8PZ

Hi, I live opersite a dark ally of which a lamp used to be lite, since this lamp has been switched off the and niegbours are nervous to walk down this ally. Although the street light wasn't bright, it just added a sense of security. We have tried to boost the lighting to the ally via our own exterior lighting, PIR's etc....

Risk to pedestrian, 8th January

If I had not acted quickly a pedestrian would have been hit by a car on the zebra crossing on Billing Road East between B'vilia Drive and Cavendish Drive. The stret light on the Allotment side of the road over the crossing has been switched off. The crossing is barely visible after dusk. People are failing to stop as they cannot see people crossing until their car reaches the crossing. This is extremely dangerous. Luckily I stopped and alerted the other car with my horn. I stopped and the young female pedestrian was shaken up but thankfully not hurt. This is an accident waiting to happen as is the crossing on Billing Road between Watersmeet and Rushmere Road. Likewise the street lights have been turned off over the junctions between Billing Road and Cavendish Drive, Billing Road and Bougainvillea Drive, Billing Road and Dulverton Road, Billing Road and Landcross Drive/Wisteria Way, Billing Road and Church Way, Bewick Road and A43 - this seems in the least ill thought out and again an fatality waiting to happen. I am a fire fighter and can seen no logical reason why lights would be turned off over junctions?? Please turn the lights back on over the junctions and crossings and prevent a fatal accident. It would be more sensible to turn lights off on straight strectches of Billing Road East thus highlighting the crossings and junctions with Lighting.
