<title>Rubbish outside No. 36, 22nd May</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/359233</link>
<description>The people who live at No. 36 just put their rubbish out whenever they feel like, regardless of the next collection day. They've had food rubbish (in black bags) outside for two days now. The bag has been ripped and rubbish is all over the street again. Come on, Cardiff Council, do something. Don't just come and clean it up - or they'll carry on doing it. Come on! I pay council tax, I deserve to not live in a street that looks and smells like a rubbish tip. It is beyond disgusting.

<title>Fires and fly tipping, 22nd May</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/359114</link>
<description>Clive St lane has become a regular tipping ground. The entire lane is littered with abandoned furniture, rubbish etc...

I am particularly concerned about the amount of broken and smashed glass. At the bottom of the lane (Ferry road end) there is a huge pile of broken glass bottles, there has to be over 100 there. They have been burnt, smashed and stayed on the ground for the last 3 weeks.

No-one from the council ever attempts to go down the lane and clean it up. Just last week I found a packet of 500mg Metformin. I handed them into the chemist, but a child using the lane to get to and from school, could have easily picked up these tablets.

The whole of the grass banks are covered in litter. Also rubbish bags, broken furniture, even dumped hedges! The small shop on Clive St closed down and when they did they chose to dump their shelving units in the lane. It was obvious where they'd come from, they were emblazened with confectionery logos and at the rear of the shop.

There was also a bag of open rat killer left in the middle of the lane and I witnessed an elderly man moving that. He was concerned about the children and local pets becomnig poisoned.

Another concern is the constant fires in the lane. People set fire to their rubbish and kids have set fire to broken branches up against people's lane doors. But the main worry is the garages, particularly number 108.

They set fires several times a week and burn toxic rubber tyres. The smell is immense and these fires smoulder for hours. As I was passing the other morning an aerosol can, that had stupidly been placed on the fire by a grown man who owns the garage (108) exploded.

Children use this lane to walk to school and on a daily basis it is becoming more and polluted. A huge clean up operation is required by Cardiff Council and there need to be signposts warning people not to fly tip or start fires.

The whole lane is full of dog excrement too and this is never cleaned up.

<title>Rubbish outside 52 and 54 Cyfarthfa Street, 22nd May</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/359089</link>
<description>One house has building waste outside it that has been there for about a week already, the other has put general rubbish out at the wrong time (suspect it is a vacated property).

This is despite extensive information of the correct days to put out waste and related fines.

<title>Extremely bad road surface, 15th May</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/357383</link>
<description>Third time this same stretch of Cae Dwyn Road has been reported via Fix My Street in a matter of weeks.

The road is in a very bad state of repair with token gesture repairs having been undertaken in what appears to be simply a way of appeasing residents.

The road is breaking up in lots of places and previous repairs are poorly undertaken. Repairs are overfilled creaitng large proud bumps on the road adjacent to new crumbling/potholed areas.

Please address these issues without delay.

<title>Overgrown tree, 8th May</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/355779</link>
<description>Tree outside 228 Pennsylvania is over grown again. The branches are hanging over the path and into our garden. It is also blocking my natural light from the living room. I am hoping they do not fall down when my daughter is out there playing. This has been done once but they did not do a great job. This is not only affecting me but also people around us. I would suggest this is cut down and the stump made into a chair.
