<description>Hackney did eventually write back an email advising that due to the narrowness of Greenwood Road and increased amount of on-street parking, the cycle path couldn't be replaced (?); the best that could be done was to apply to Highways for more street signage warning motorists of counter-flow cyclists (= more street clutter) and this could be done before the end of the financial year. Not particularly clear or helpful; not convinced that amount of on-street parking has increased since white cycle lines were last painted.
