The problem was only fixed because the skip was removed. The council contacted me to say an inspector had been and that there was a light on the skip, what they didn't check was whether or not the light was working, it did not. Well done Richmond on your incompetance.

Still no 'working' light on this skip. The skip is on the road and dangerous to traffic.

Thank you for your report. An inspector contacted the skip hire company on the 10/11/09 to request lamps for the skip in accordance with the licence issued. On re-inspection on the 11/11/09, the skip had lights fitted.

Richmond's street scene inspector has visited the site and spoken to the company whose skip it is. They have said they will get a working lamp put on the skip.
