I am pleased to inform you that the flooding problem has been resolved after two and a half years. Not bad going by SCC Highways to clean a gully. Thanks for your help.

The flooding has not been fixed yet, the council have tried to clean the gulley- after I posted the problem on this website-but have been unsuccessful. I have just sent them another email and more pictures in the hope that they will sort this obviously complicated job out.

The gully appears to be partially cleaned out. I will report back after the next period of heavy rain on whether the flooding problem is cured. This problem would have continued to be ignored if your site did not exist. Many thanks
