Updates on Blocked street drain

After a 10 months of reporting the problem to both Brighton & Hove City Council and Southern Water, and finally filing a formal complaint under the Council's complaints procedure, this drain is now at last unblocked. What an heroic effort!

There was some light rain today, which revealed that this drain is STILL blocked /sighs/ I would also like to concur about the endemic parking on the double yellow lines (and loading on the 'no-loading' bits).

There's also near non-stop parking on the double yellow lines, and a steady stream of fly tipping on what's left of the pavement. Bring back hanging, I say!

There's graffiti on the side and back wall of HMV (corner of Western Rd and Castle St) and on the wall of the newsagent (corner of Preston St and Castle St)
