<description>I have used this stretch of road for 3 years and the condition just gets worse. There is a lot of building development on chiswell street - is this the reason for the delay in resurfacing? It is extremely dangerous for cyclists.

<description>Agree with the other posters, came here to report the AWFUL state of Chiswell street and see it has been reported some time ago and nothing done. Its about the worst stretch I've cycled on in central London- highly dangerous. SORT IT OUT PLEASE.

<description>Just came on the site to report Chiswell Street's ludicrous potholes and saw that this had already been reported, yet remains unfixed (now almost June 2009)

Chiswell Street is full of craters which to avoid would take the cyclist onto the other side of the road.

In Africa they fill potholes with sand when state employees fail to do their work properly. Perhaps we should do that?

<description>Just to update this old problem -- it's still the case that this stretch of road is very hazardous for cyclists due to the extremely uneven road surface.
