Change to sequence of lights causing tailbacks, 13rd May

I think the sequence of the lights on junction of Endymion road and Green Lanes.

Is is causing traffic to tailback on Endymion Road - leading to impatient drivers using their horns.

Persistent dog fouling, 3rd May

Large amounts of dog faeces are regularly smeared on the left-hand side (heading north) of Holloway Road, from Budgens up to the junction near Archway Tube Station. This is caused by the dogs of the vagrants and beggars who appear in the early evening and congregate in the doorways of the properties. As they are presumably 'homeless', they have nowhere to put any dog faeces. Perhaps a special bin should be put somewhere along this stretch, or, even better, more frequent police foot patrols to prevent this? It is a disgusting and hazardous nuisance.

Street cleaning, 27th April

Hargrave Road is a major throughfare betwem Holloway Road and Junction Road.

There is no street cleaning over the weekend so there is a major problem with litter, especially after Friday & Saturday nights post-pub/night clubs. Lots of rubbish from kebab shops & KFC is dropped in this street. Today, Sunday 27th April is especially bad.

Please can this road be swept at the weekends and large litter bins placed on the street.

Overgrown and obstructive hedge, 25th April

The council flats at the corner of Sandbrook Road have an extremely overgrown and obstructive hedge. It is difficult to walk past the hedge without snagging yourself on it and it overhangs into the road in such a manner as to be an obstruction on the highway, It needs severe pruning back

Street lights not working, 24th April

Street lights are not working on both sides of Seven Sisters Road (more than 3 lights in a row). This is not a safe area to walk in at night and it is a main road with a lot of traffic. Also there is a petrol station entrance in the middle of what is now an unlit space - which means that cars crossing the road can't see the pedestrians there. Many serious accidents and fatalities have occured here in the past. Please do something about this asap. Many thanks.

Household waste on street, 11th April

Hi
Various inhabitants of 30, 32, 34 & 36 Portland Rise put their rubbish bags onto the pavement several days before it is collected on a Tuesday.
These bags are often torn open and the rubbish spills onto the street.
I suggest a reminder to the inhabitants of these dwellings not to put rubbish out before collection day is needed to prevent this.

Thanks

Littering/rodents/environmental health, 1st April

For a long period of time there has been a large amount of rubbish in front of this property (no.61, red front door) that is not in bins and spills out of bags. This undermines the visual amenity and appearance of the neighbourhood, which is a conservation area, and causes bad smells, insects and rodents. Atleast three large rats have been seen in the rubbish. This constitutes a health hazard to the residents of the flats, especially the children who live there. Street cleaners do not clear it, presumably becasue it is not bagged.

Archway streets + dog mess, 19th March

Upper Junction Rd, many of the side streets at the Archway end (esp Bickerton) have a bad and persistent problem with dog mess on the pavements. It is frequently not cleared up by dog owners and subsequently gets smeared across the pavement and is not cleaned by street cleaners. Thank you.

Broken fence/railings, 18th March

There are ironrailings surrounding the childrens' park/play area. One of the railings has been bent out of shape. This allows people to let their dogs into the park for "walks" and to foul the area. As this is a play area designed for children c an the railing be fixed to minimise health and safety risks. Thanks

Queens Drive General Street Maintenance, 15th March

Where to start...this section of Queens Drive seems to be all but completely neglected. Trees aren't properly maintained, litter collections don't appear to be making any impact, paving stones along the whole road are a health and safety nightmare and dog fouling is a regular occurance. Lighting is also poor. I feel that if the environment were to be better kept we would see a decrease in crime levels in the area and at the very least people would feel safer. This could be a really nice street with very little investement (plants instead of bare, dog poo laden communal areas, a few litter bins, better lighting, increased litter collections or an anti-litter campaign).

Rubbish on the footpath, 26th February

Hi. A lot of litter gets dumped on the footpath linking the top of Shakspeare Walk to Londesborough Road. There is currently a good deal of broken glass, etc. And the more litter that's dropped, the more it seems to attract. Please can the Council clear it, and then get the street sweepers to include this stretch on their regular rounds to keep the litter down? Thanks.

Rubbish being tipped over the fench, 26th February

A gap in the fence here reveals that people have clearly been tipping rubbish over it. Not sure why there is a fence here at all, but clearly the barrier makes people think they can get away with flytipping unseen.
