Some of the holes have been "fixed" but it need resurfacing to fix the problems once and for all. The repairs that were made by the traffic island are starting to wear away already. I travel from The Drive in Horley to Plough Road ni Smallfield everyday, I could spend ages reporting all the bad road surfaces on this journey. The traffic was queuing all down Court Lodge Road with more traffic queuing along Vicarage Lane. Cars could only get onto Vicarage Lane if someone stopped to let them out. Only 3 or 4 cars were getting through the lights at once & it took 9 or 10 cycles of the lights changing to actually reach them & get through. There was never a problem before today so I have no idea why the timings have been changed so dramatically. It's extremely narrow, and as you approach from the Shell Roundabout North West of it, the pavement appears to stick out and drivers often hit it when cars approaching from the other direction hog the road, this is an accident waiting to happen. A separate footbridge should be made, and the pavements removed to provided wider access for cars, also, larger vehicles, including very large trucks negotiate this section of road, taking up all of the road and again could cause a head-on collision.
