Well at long last some protracted activity. A drainage trench has been dug and connected to a main drain. The trench has been filled with loose rocks about the size of a large grapefruit. I'm waiting to hear/see of the first time one of these 'grapefruit' are used as a missile. Why weren't the rock in metal cages as seen on motorway embankments? Caged rocks are a safer option.
