Dear Sir/Madam On a daily basis the children continually play football/cricket in the middle of the street with hard balls, like tennis balls smashing them against the cars, windows and houses. They ride bikes flying inbetween all the cars as they ride, both incidents are cause criminal damage and health and safety issues, for residents leaving their homes. Leaving cars with scratches etc.. The children range from 12-13 and upwards which is frankly too old to be playing cricket+football in the street. There are two big parks nearby in which they could play, Longford Park and Wyken Slough. It has already been complained about to Police by a number of neighbours already. When will something be done? Ball Games in the street, 13rd June

On a daily basis the children (and there friends) from number 52 wyley road are playing football in the street they have no respect for peoples property the football is deliberatly kicked towards house windows and parked cars. A number of neighbours have spoken to the children but they take no notice I think they are aged 13 which is to old to play football in the street. I would like to see a letter sent to home owners close to 52 with advice on how this anti social behaviour can be stopped.

I have had graffti, food thrown on my house, my side window smashed because people use this as as shortcut between oldfield road and crosbie road. Who has right of access down this alley way and can this be gated or access limited in this way. This alley had become like a through road.

Why are there still potholes in this street,you have spent thousands of pounds doing traffic calming measures ,but the rest of the road is still bad.The same problem down primrose hill street,potholes

I may have damaged my car from a deep pothole, 20th May

Hi, I was on my way to work this morning and hit a very deep pothole in the road. There was also another driver who had stopped at the side of the road with a damaged tyre due to the same problem. I have not had a chance to look at my car yet but i am going to take it to the garage and see if there is a problem with either the suspension or tyre. The car is an 09 plate so any faults with these components would be down to this pothole.

Uneven path, 13rd May

My Mother is 89 years of age and lives on the corner of Earlsdon Ave South and Styvechale Ave. The pavement along Earlsdon Ave South down to Earlsdon village is extremely uneven - mainly to do with roots of trees, thus creating a trip hazard.

Rear car access , 12th May

The rear car access is for houses 10,12,14(mine),16,18,20,22,24,26, & 28. The access from the street is between houses 18 & 20.I am the now the only one who uses a garage. Having gained planning permission many years ago and thus pay rates on it I am tired of buying weed treatment out of my state pension also it seems that people are opening their back gates and throwing away their carpets, carpet gripper, childs toys, branches and garden waste.

Due to the council installing new lines on the road, there's an increase of cars parking on the verge. The grass has disappeared over the past 4 months and now is unsightly. Cars park on the pavement on both sides of the road. Sending out a traffic warden isnt helping, proper parking provisions must be made for local residents and for people shopping at the MAJOR Co-op store on the corner

Compton Road/Lythalls Lane, 6th May

Multiple potholes at the junction, and also near the adjacent bus stops on Compton Road. Loose stones & grit on road from the holes also pose a hazard in addition to that caused by the holes!

Rubbish bags left in the street, 5th May

There are nearly always several rubbish bags left in the street where indicated. While we've had them taken away a couple of times, new ones always appear within a few days. They keep getting split open, fouling the street & causing a hazard.

Being a resident(pensioner) of Avonview Ryton on Dunsmorefor now nine years I am very troubled with the proposed plans of a prison being sited 800yds from our home.I would appreciate notification of every meeting regarding these plans proposed.

Pothole just after the bend when heading west. Pothole is positioned to catch the right wheel. size ~12" dia x 1.5" deep. Sharp edges to hole (not sloping sides)

I walk along a entry with my daughter on the way to and from school.It runs from the top of Brays lane just past the tyer garage to wallsgrave road.Not only is it not lit at night and is full of litter I have noticed on a number of occaisions needles from drug users scatterd in bushes that run along the entry and over the footpath.This is a absoulute disgrace! I was outraged! I have also encounterd a male urinating in the same entry in broad daylight when I was walking with children back from the school run.Surely somehting can be done?!

No Ball Games, 26th April

We would like a 'No Ball Games' sign to be put up in the street (Manor Hall Mews, Willenhall, Coventry)due to our cars being damaged by children playing with balls ranging from Footballs to Golf balls. The parents do not seem to care as long as they're not playing outside of their house and because ours is the first house in the street it is getting the abuse. It also attracts children from other streets due to it being a quiet close.

Dangerous road surface, 20th April

The road is dangerous to drive on as it has countless potholes which are getting worse and worse on this whole stretch of Stoney Stanton Road between the junction of Broad Street and the mini roundabout for the Gallagher Retail Park. The new bus lanes etc have upgraded those small sections, but not fixed the main road surface which is falling to bits and dangerous.
