Undulating, broken and dangerous pavement, 29th July

The pavement from the exit of the Hyatt Hotel on Bridge St up until the junction with Broad St is cracked and uneven. The bond between the flags and mono bricks in incorrect with fillet missing presenting a trip hazard. The flags are uneven and undulating at this spot and need relaying.

Lighting Column 36 is poorly seated in the pavement with an inappropriate surround. This needs reworking.

Undulating, broken and dangerous pavement, 28th July

The area of pavement between Sheepcote St and Broad St from the pedestrian crossing to 78 Broad Street entrance is in a dangerous and tired condition. The grey mono bricks are undulating with trip hazards and broken bricks, the adj flags are in the same condition. There is evidence of poor quality repairs to footway with temporary tarmac inserts that need addressing. The mono adobe bricks at the rear of the pavement are out of line and falling away.

There are two damaged pedestrian rails on the corner of Sheepcote St and Broad St, it may be that there supporting column also needs attention.

There are two manhole covers adjacent to the tactile paving off the dropped kerb onto Broad Street off Sheepcote St. They are both incorrectly fitted with too much fillet surround, which in any event is cracked and in part missing presenting a trip hazard.
