Footpath from Duffryn St SW to rear lane is overgrown. Landscaping boundary (believed to be maintained by neighbouring housing estate) is also overgrown and unmaintained causing obstruction

Condition of river, 6th June

The river at site pinpointed is full of rubbish .I reported a sighting of a protected species which is threatened by the condition of the river and the building works going on

Obstructed pavements, 4th June

Cars parked on pavements and in some sops both sides of the road in the evening making the corner dangerous to drive around and for predestrians alike. Every night outside No17 and along this street there are vehicals on the pavement parked in a maner the forces predestrians out in to the road because it is impossible to pass them

Due to Water main burst, 29th May

Since Water main burst and the subsequent fix by Welsh Water, there is a series of large potholes scattered across the road, which have not been addressed. We are unable to drive around them as there is so many. These will cause damage to our cars.

Dirt bikes on Eglywsilan Common, 27th May

Sunday, 25 May 2008, 3 to 5 pm I parked my car at the north end of Eglywsilan Common and went for a walk. A minimum of three dirt bikes were zooming around the Common, nearly knocking me down at the Trig Point (Bwlch Carn-y-Gelli) -- very dangerous because there was thick fog. When I returned to my vehicle, it had been heavily sprayed with mud and rocks, presumably kicked up by the dirt bikes' spinning tyres. The left front indicator was smashed, my windscreen was peppered with chips, and my bonnet suffered bad dents and scrapes (to the bare metal). The sign on the Common prohibits all motor vehicles on the Common, but this is blatantly ignored. This is a very dangerous situation, and it has caused significant damage to my car. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Fallen Tree, 21st May

A tree has fallen on the communal green at the rear of my property between the houses at Bowls Close and Ty Isaf bungalows. Please could this be removed as soon as possible. Thank you

State of penallta Road, 2nd May

Multiple potholes in road surface extending from the Railway Bridge (Pantycelyn Sreet)north to Western House on Penallta Road. No doubt caused by the multitude of overweight lorries going to/from building site at the rear of Pantycelyn street

2 Abandonned, Untaxed Cars, 17th March

Two abandoned vehicles. Tenant moved away 1 month ago and has left untaxed vehicles behind. White Audi (DBZ 9206) and silver rover (N713 PAV)

Rat-run, 24th February

The back lane from the top of the Hendredenny estate to Abertridw is used as a peak hour rat-run by driver trying to avoid the Bowls roundabout. There are blind bends, often walkers and horse riders on the lane as well as legitimate residents traffic from Hendredenny Uchaf and Hendredenny Ganol. One resident was recently involved in a head-on crash involving 2 young men in a car which, police estimate was travelling in excess of 40mph at the point of impact! The lane is often used by youngsters on quad and dirt bikes for what appears to be speed trialing. The lane is in a de-restricted speed zone, there are no warning signs ad to the potential dangers and no traffic calming measures. Sooner or later someone is going to be seriously injured, or worse. Residents of properties accessed from this lane call for immediate traffic calming measures such as a 20mph speed limit, warning signs alerting drivers to collision risks or preferably, the total prohibition of through traffic from using this lane as a short-cut at all times.

Graffiti in Caerphilly seems to be getting worse, 21st January

Since moving to this neighbourhood fairly recently, my family and I have noticed an alarming increase in graffiti at the bottom of Court Road and along the main road Brynhyfryd. Vandals seem to be graffitying the bus shelters, the telephone box and recently the shop front. It is making the area look absolutely awful. Please do something to eradicate this problem.

Broken light, 1st January

The light has not been working for about a week, and it is dangerous, as i have elderly neighbours who have steps at the front of their homes.
