The road however is absolutely COVERED in potholes and flowing water. It's becoming very dangerous and needs to be fixed. Recently, the flowing water has caused a small landslide which also isn't really boding well. The sooner things get sorted out here, the better. It's been like this for far too long. I know I've written about this before but it's just getting worse and worse. I understand it isn't a main road but by just spending some time and money on it, things will really improve. There are young children in the road, and I fear that at some stage, a child will get cut. Also: It's a nuisance having to drive around broken glass when leaving my premises. The council have cleaned the glass up on several occasions, so cannot deny that the problem exists. The council say that it is the seals on the trucks which cause the problem. The second time i phoned i was told it was not in their day today repair budget and will only be done if a programme for fencing and gates was in the area and this could be years away or even never. I have complained several times and am told if I want gates to buy them myself. I cannot afford them as I am on benefits and rthey are rather expensive I live on westland avenue which you are probably aware ia a fairly busy road , connected to two main roads either side. These affect traffic speeds over the speed humps.
