Abandoned car, 17th June

Car Registration N244 FWT Abandoned. The owners have moved away and the car has not been moved or driven for a number of months.

Fauly Street Light, 27th May

The street light BAW008 has a fault bulb that is keeping residents awake as it is sonetimes flickering, and sometimes shuts off and reboots back on again. Please fix urgently as by a vehicle right of way to alleyway which is otherwise very dark and dangerous.

Litter, 10th February

There's always quite a lot of litter on the streets of Kennington, the part of Ashford where I live. I regularly pick up some litter myself, but it would be nice if the council could do more to help.

Dog Fouling, 23rd January

The situation on Imperial Way is gettin worse, especially outside my property. Everyone knows who the offenders are. There are no bins for dog mess in the locality

Do Fouling, 24th December

There have been persistent outbreaks of dog fouling along our street. This seemed to improve some months ago when the Dog Warden made an appearance. However, the situation has subsequently got much worse and is not acceptable. Some of the faeces have been full of worms which demonstrates the health risks involved to a community comprising of families, many with young children.

No wheelie bins or recycling collections, 24th July

I recently moved to this area and was shocked to find out we don't have bins or get any recycling collections. Most people seem to leave black rubbish bags outside their house or make a big pile in the car park. This isn't very hygienic, after a week in the sun these bags often smell quite a bit. The bags are also often attacked by animals that leave rubbish strewn all down the street. Lots of people complain about this and I saw a some other references to rubbish problems from this area on the website. We also don't get any recycling collections which is strange when we are supposed to be encouraging people to recycle more. Only a few streets closer to Ashford they get both Wheelie bins and recycling collections. Is it intentional that the area around Fairview drive doesn't get these or have we just been forgotten about?

6 Black Bin Liners, 21st May

6 black bin liners have been dumped at the entrance to a field and close to a public footpath. One has broken open and appears to contain electrical waste.

Fouling on right of way, 1st May

Constant fouling of this area by lots of dog owners who never attempt to clear their dogs mess. When spoken to some of the owners say it is alright to foul where lots of dogs do the same every day.

Mad Seagull, 20th April

A seagull is attacking various cars within this road. He starts at around 05:45 every morning and continues until around 19:30. This causes a lot of noisy banging and wakes up children.

Vandalism and litter, 17th April

In and around the area of East Stour Way/ Fairview drive grassed area. Trees have been broken and constant littering of grass verge. Also vandalism of bike sheds for east stour way flats is leading to youths from the social housing opposite hanging around , drinking alcohol and graffiti. This problem appears to be getting out of hand

Car tyres dumped in gateway, 13rd April

A large quantity of car tyres have been dumped in a gateway on the south side of Bower road, Mersham, halfway between Cherry glebe and Stock Lane.

Van parked on corner of The Bulrushes and Dragonfly Close, 11th April

A van has been left parked and abandoned outside my home for the past 5 weeks. The van has business contact details on the outside - refering to a Kitchen fitters - but these details refer to the previous owner, who when telephoned said he had sold the vehicle some time ago. There is a current tax disc; so technically it is parked legally - until the tax runs ou. In the meantime, please could the owner be contacted and asked to move it as it is obstructing the highway. Vehicles advertised for sale on grass verges, 10th April

At the entrance to Bucksford Lane in Great Chart I constantly have problems with vehicles being parked - sometimes for an entire week - that are being sold privately. This parking will be the cause of a serious accident at this junction as they completely block the view of traffic coming down Tithe Barn Lane. We have already had one fatality at this junction and I belive if this practice is allowed to contiue there will be more.

Rubbish, 3rd April

Number 18 leaves there rubbish outside the front of the house all week, so during the course of the week it gets blown around and the cats rip the bags open so there is rubbish strewn all over the place
