Ardentinny beach area rubbish, 11th July

The Ardentinny beach/picnic area of late has become a target for those who visit our community on holidays, long weekends, or just camping/drinking/fishing, and leaving the area in a very poor state. Litter comprising of beer and alcohol bottles and cans, used portable bbq's on forestry benches. Now the tree's at the far end of the beach are being Vandalised to supplement the beach bonfires, most recently with power saws. Additional policing either by Forestry, National Park, Council or Police is required in order to prevent these abuses of the area.

Dangerous and uneven footpaths, 24th June

The footpaths in front of my house and on the estate I live in are in a disgraceful condition. In front of my house there is uneven pavement which I and visitors to my home have tripped over and fell on. There are a lot of the pavements also uneven due to tree roots damaging them. I don't have a photo as my camera isn't working but the paths here are terrible.

Litter, 13rd June

I am not so much looking for the dropped litter to be picked up, as this is a daily occurrence and I pick up much of it myself - what I would like to see is some action being taken against the schoolchildren who drop the litter on their way home from school. They walk up from Cardross Station, buy sweets and drinks in the local shops, then drop the empty cans and crisp packets on Muirend Road and along Ritchie Avenue. Dropping litter is an offence, yet they are allowed to do it with impunity. Are there no litter wardens who could police this - or even the police themselves?

Fly tipping up near St peters Seminary, 29th April

Just to let you know of the problem in this area, numerous drops have been made that contains both large amounts of garden waste ( large tree cuttings) as well as household rubbish. A vehicle has been seen ( white flatbed type) on many occasions going to this path making it almost impassable. I have forwarded a photo of said vehicle on to the local dog warded/caretaker who is trying to find the vehicle owner

Increase amount of dog fouling, 23rd April

On Argyle Street there is an increase to the amount of people not cleaning up after their dogs. I have had several incidents right out side my door and want the council to put up signs warning as to the dangers of dog fowling, (dog waste can carry many illnesses and diseases such as: tosicariasis, Heartworms, Whipworms, Hookworms Roundworms, Tapeworms, Parvo, Corona, Giardiasis, Salmonellosis, Cryptosporidiosis, Campylobacteriosis and fecal Coliform Bacteria). More bins for the disposal of dog poo should be provided and an increase to the fine imposed on owners who do not clean up after their dog could be used to pay for the above.

B8025, 21st April

The B8025 west of Ivy Cottage is in a dreadful state of repair. It is severely potholed and not readily passable to cars. The road requires substantial and urgent repair.

Street light out, 8th April

This street light has been out for several months.

Not Neighbourly, 7th April

Various people in the area have just dumped unwanted goods in the back garden of No7 Kirkfield place. This property is vacant.It has become quite unsighly and I dont think it is very fair that someone else should have to eventually pay for thier waste.

Litter, 1st April

I have seen that a "No Dumping" sign has been erected here, but the rubbish already dumped there has not been cleared away. Nearby, in Stroul Bay, there are about eleven traffic cones in the sea which someone threw in some months ago. I really feel the council should clear these away at low tide one day, as well as all the litter in the place marked by the arrow. I walk past it every day and it is not very nice.

Barely any Road Surface Left, 28th March

This problem has been on-going for many years (over 5!), with several 'temporary' repairs that last only a matter of months. A permanent solution has been promised repeatedly, although has never happened. The road leads to a public car park and two dwellings, and is once again barely passable in anything other than an off-road vehicle!

Commercial Vehicle Parking 24/7, 21st March

Up to 9 commercial vans in various states of disrepair parked 24/7 in residentialstreet.Kerbside cleaning cannot happen(environmental issue) ,road safety issue with proximity of Primary School,limited parking restriction notices ignored,public eyesore,amenity blighted. 4years of attempting to get the business to act responsibly and/or the council to do something have resulted in no action against company involved.

Surface Deterioration, Erines Bridge, A83(T) Tarbert, 11th March

Relevant roads authority is Scottish Executive, whose main contractor is ScotlandTranserve. On southbound lane of A83 trunk road, approaching north end of Erines Bridge, north of Tarbert, area of badly broken surface, causing vehicles to swerve whilst approaching confines of bridge parapets. Danger of collision with oncoming traffic or with bridge parapet.

Surface Deterioration, Meall Mhor Bridge, A83(T) Tarbert, 11th March

Relevant roads authority is Scottish Executive, whose main contractor is ScotlandTranserve. On southbound lane of A83 trunk road, at north end of Meall Mhor Bridge, north of Tarbert, two areas of broken surface, causing vehicles to swerve whilst within confines of bridge parapets. Danger of collision with oncoming traffic.

Pothole, A83 Northbound, Stonefield, Tarbert, 11th March

Relevant roads authority is Scottish Executive, whose main contractor is ScotlandTranserve. Sharp-edged pothole on nearside of northbound lane of A83 trunk road. Pothole in question lies in a logical braking area for an approaching bend; consequences for suspension of striking pothole whilst braking are worse than if simply driving over it with neutral acceleration/deceleration. Matching pothole on offside of same lane at same point on road appears to have been filled recently.

Dog fouling, 6th March

The dog fouling within the Elizabeth Avenue area is out of control,i thing there should be bin's provided in the area with scoops and bag's,and there should also be sign's clearly marked for any dog's dirt that does'ent get disgarded then there will be a fine imposed on the dog owner.

Road Surface, 5th March

The road alongside the golf course is in an appalling condition, there are so many potholes it looks like a map of the moon. I admit it is not a major route but it should still be in a usable condition.

Flooding, 23rd February

Burn constantly flooding when heavy rainfall. Dangerous as covers path used by people taking short-cut and dog walkers, the burn also runs alongside the primary school

Potholes and surface water collecting, 18th February

There are several pot holes which rapidly over-fill with rainwater and cause a large puddle (almost all the way across the road) even in quite light rains - prompt action would be much appreciated

Under age drinking, 18th February

Frequent gathering of youths at the bus stop late at night, drinking usually vodka, and shouting verbal abuse to passers by.
