Litter covering a footpath

Over the last few months litter has been gathering on a weekly basis along the public footpath that leads down the side of the old Windmill in Wendover. There is also graffiti on the fences. As I walk this route daily to the train station I've noticed that nothing has been done for months to clear this rubbish up which is very sad. There is also a lot of litter strewn on the sides of the major roads such as the Aylesbury Road. The local litter man is very helpful but we only see him every few weeks and he doesn't have time to cover all of Wendover adequately.

I suspect that the litter issue was fixed more by luck than judgement as I happened to see the local street cleaner on my way to the station and asked him directly if he could clean up the mess down the footpath. Being ever obliging he did this. I would like to think the problem was solved through the complaint to the local council but suspect that my chance meeting was the solution.
