Dangerous manoeuvre

Drivers coming onto the Smallfield road at this junction, from either Balcombe road (either direction) or Station Road, sometimes think they can immediately turn right into a side road of shops*, this is very dangerous. Either it should be signposted this is NOT permitted, or "Keep clear" areas setup to allow this (with the traffic light timings increased to compensate for the added distance).

*You can clearly see this side road between the Balcombe Road and the "PO" label here.
