Dog fouling outside school

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later

There is a growing problem of dog fouling outside Black Firs Primary School, Longdown Road, West Heath, Congleton and along the paths on Delamere Road and Longdown Road. I walk my son to school and there is fresh dog mess daily which has been trodden in and on occasion I have seen teachers have to wash shoes before the children can enter school. This is unacceptable and there is growing concern among the parents who walk to school that this is a health hazard to the children who may have some on their shoes, walk it onto the school carpets and then have to sit on them. Please let me know what will be done about this.

The council have been very helpful sending a clean up team out and getting the local dog warden involved. They said some signs would be put up but this has not yet happened and the area would be put on a short term patrol to try to catch the offenders.
