Grass verge is now a mud verge

Recently roadworks were carried out by a power company the grass verge was dug up and is now just mud.

A neighbour has parked large vans on it and damaged it further.

Could this part of the verge be made good?

This is typical of work done in the area - road works/building work etc.. are done and the grass is never put back to how it was - just mud left behind. You will notice the same in Springfields Park.

You will probably find that the contractors have sprinkled some grass seed on the area in the hope that one day you will end up with a few patchy areas of grass amongst the mud.
