Drainage

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Mike Smith at 12:17, Tue 23 February 2010
Sent to Cornwall Council 3 minutes later

Due to a lack of provision of drains for the rain water collecting on the A390 my drive way is awash with a flow of about 10 to 25 litres of water per minute whenever rain falls. There is no appropriate gutter drain on either side the A390 to handle this water. It has resuled in flooding and damage to my property.

I had to send 3 reminders to the council before I received a reply. The reply was polite and helpful followed by a further call explaining the situation and a reassurance that the problem would be resolved during the next ( April 2010) fiscal year.
