Disabled Parking Bays
Reported in the Road traffic signs category by Hedley Rowlands at 19:25, Monday 22 February 2010
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later
Hi
There are 4 painted disabled parking bays mid-way down Worsely Street, Redfield, Bristol (off Church Road). There are 2 bays on each side, which reduce parking availability for others.
This is a very narrow street with limited parking space.
Please confirm if these marked bays are in use by current local residents, or if they can be removed, to improve parking for other vehicles.
Note that some disabled use residents living there at the time of painting may not live in this street any more.
Is it possible to confirm which houses the bays are associated with?
Many thanks

Updates
Hi, I have received an email from the appropriate council authority kindly explaining that they will undertake to find out the official current requirement for local disabled bays and then if they are not needed anymore then work will be added to their list of paint-removal work to do and will be done as time and resource permits. As it is not an emergency or causing any safety issues, then this is fine. Thanks
