Change of position of street lights

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 23:55, Thu 18 February 2010
Sent to Bradford City Council 4 minutes later

Since they put new lights along Thornton Road, there is no longer a light at the end of this little alleyway which goes between Hugill Street and Thornton Road, Opposite James Street. Consequently, it is dark at night and you can't see if there's anyone prowling round on there or having a pee (which is what they normally do). Unsafe for women on their own.

Why would you want to send me a questionnaire in 4 weeks time.... I would actually like a reply to find out whether there is anything to be done about the repositioning of the street lights.

If this isn't sent to the council how will they know that the problem hasn't been fixed. And how will I know what the council are planning on doing about it?

I haven't heard from the council at all.... does this web site actually send the information to the council? Or does the council not reply to emails?
