There is broken glass in the grass verge outside 100 West Hill. It looks as if it has come from a broken car window. There is also a misplaced green recycling box outside 98 West Hill following today's collection. This has happened on three other occasions, perhaps because there is a convenient space by 98 for the truck to pull in. On other occasion the box has gone unclaimed for several weeks. More care returning boxes seems to be required.

Glass was cleared with a truck mounted vacuum cleaner the next day. A few days after the report, a refuse truck stopped outside. When I next looked, the green box that I had left on the verge was on my drive with rubbish in it. I emptied the rubbish into my bin and placed the box back on the verge, from where it disappeared.
