Poor Road Surface

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:34, Thu 18 February 2010
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

The road in Paulton Drive was re-surfaced during summer 2009. The standard of work was very poor and the chppings near junction with Kings Drive began to lift almost immediately. The problem has become progressively worst. The contractors should be instructed to re-surface road at own expense. (NOTE - the problem was NOT caused by the recent ice and sn)ow

Although the problem has not been fixed, progress has been made. I had a swift response with a promise to address the problem. The road has been swept to remove loose chippings and hopefully the re-dressing of the surface will follow.

Quick response from local council who agreed to remove loose chippings from road /pavement and then re-surface the road. The removal of chippings was completed promtly but as of 11 May, no action taken on re-surfacing.
