Road surface is dangerous

The stretch of Station Lane from the Woodlesford Train Station to the Two Pointers public house is dangerous. I cycle on it frequently and the potholes cause drivers to swerve to avoid the damaged bits. It has also caused me a buckled wheel in the last month (don't worry I don't intend claiming!) Can we properly resurface this stretch of road please?

This stretch of road is still really dreadful and needs to be towards the top of the no doubt long list of roads needing full and proper resurfacing (ie more than just 3 blokes with a spadeful of ashphalt!)
One of the potholes (the biggest) seams to have had a botch quick repair. However the worst bit now is at the bottom of station lane, right on the T-junction with Aberford road. This 200m stretch of road takes a lot of traffic and has been patched up and been substandard for years. Please fix it properly rather than just patching up. There are minor roads in Wike that have been repaired properly, why can't this road be done?
This road is getting worse. The section of station lane that goes up hill past the train station entrance is now very heavily eroded. Cars are driving in the middle of the road to avoid the worst bits.
I would like to add to the sentiments of Conrad Hart-Brooke. This stretch of road is in a dreadful state. Our local councillors have sent out a letter informing us that a stretch of Church Street in Rothwell will be resurfaced. The state of the Rothwell road is in a much better state of repair than the stretch from the A642 to the Two Pointers. Come on councillors sort it out!!!
Got a reply from Highway services:
Dear Mr Hart-Brooke With regards to your enquiry I can confirm that Station Lane from Aberford Rd to Church St is programmed to be resurfaced this financial year. The detailed design is currently ongoing however should you require any further information regarding the works please contact my colleague Dave Penty who has been copied into this reply. In the meantime I shall continue to make safe as required however in view of the proposal, to utilise limited funds effectively, this will involve the minimum required Yours sincerely Martin Barnes Operations Manager Highways Service
