Abandoned wreck of bike locked

A bike locked to a lamp post is a real nuisance for walkers and parkers. A blind lady ran into it today as she was trying to cross the road.

The council have now put a sticker on the bike (which has been there for almost a year) saying it will be removed in 7 days....so it MIGHT be solved soon. Watch this space.

Council still promising they will remove it "any day now". It is now April 7th.

It took more than six months of almost weekly calls to the council but now someone has come and cut the lock with a boltcropper and removed the bike.
