Green belt erosion

This area of public green belt is being abused by people parking here. Yet there are plenty of very close parking spaces, only meters away. The grass between trees on this green belt is being eroded with deepening tire groves showing up. It is destroying the grass/play area, and yet there remains ample parking space for my neighbors to use meters away.

Council responded by saying it'd be too impractical to ask residents to respect public land... Pathetic excuse!
