Insufficient light in alleyway

The lighting at the top of the alleyway running between Mecklenburgh Square and Brunswick Square needs attention. The end nearest Brunswick Square is very dark and scary.

This path is owned by the foundation and is closed one day a year to prevent it becoming a right of way. I found this out about 15 years ago the first time I though to walk through. The gate had a notice to this effect Public liabiliy may be limited. Research!

the path doesn't belong to the public i.e. the council will not fix it.
